  • "I am from Oshawa Ont. Canada. My wife and I left home on July 15th on our Hayabusa, riding 2-up and pulling our 1 wheel trailer to travel to Snow-Shoe West Virginia for the Road-Runner magazine 4 day convention. On Sunday July 20th we left there and traveled to Wytheville Virginia and spent 3 days there riding the back of the dragon and a few other day rides. The morning of the 23rd I noticed my rear tire was getting pretty worn out so I was able to contact Steve at Mr. Motorcycle in Ashville N.C. who is in charge of service. Steve without any issues said that he had a set of tires that I run on the Hayabusa in the shop and if I could make the 150 mile ride down to Ashville he would get me in as soon as I got there. I also decided while the mechanics had the wheels off I would have new sprockets, chain and brake pads all installed. I could have gotten another 1000 miles out of these parts but I was totally impressed with this dealership that I decided that If Steve had these parts also I would get the work done now. I don't as a rule let anyone work on my Hayabusa other than my mechanic back here at home but Steve said all the technicians in the shop were excellent guys and that whoever was assigned to do the work on my Hayabusa would perform an excellent job. Well, Steve was right. All the work done was performed by Brad and I have had absolutely no issues. Great job Brad. I left Ashville after riding day trips from there for 2 days after all the work was done and since arrived back home here on August 1st with 3,000 kms on the Hayabusa since Mr. Motorcycle did the work on my Hayabusa and the Hayabusa runs great. It is awesome to know when you are in some-what of a problem while traveling that if you are anywhere near Ashville NC. you can depend on Steve and the guys at Mr. Motorcyle to help you out and get you back riding.   • "I just returned home from the American Voyager Association International Rally in Asheville. I had a good time there and enjoyed the 8400 mile plus ride crossing the U.S. and back with the Northern California Voyager team. I had a need to remove my center stand at MR Motorcycle before heading out to Hwy 29 and "The Tail of the Dragon." Steve Babb, in the Service Department, took me in at 3:30 in the afternoon without an appointment and the mechanic, Randy Lingi, quickly put me at ease charging me only 1/2 hour of labor. I was immensely impressed with this dealership. Thanks to you and all of the nationwide support Kawasaki affords me and my 1994 Kawasaki Voyager XII and to Kawasaki for building a reliable machine for letting the "Good Times Roll.""

  • "I have just returned home from a delightful trip to your "neck of the woods" where I was able to enjoy several trips on my 2005 Yamaha V-Star 1100, thanks in no small part to the wonderful service and help I obtained from your fine establishment. I had suffered a flat rear tire on my bike just before I was going to ride "The Dragon" and the Blue Ridge Parkway with my brothers. This was our first family motorcycle trip and I was looking forward to it with great enthusiasm. I had called several places, but your facility was the only one who could accommodate me on such short notice. Alex Brown was very helpful and ensured my satisfaction by suggesting a better tire than I was originally looking for. The service was very, very good and under the circumstances, the price was very reasonable. I did some shopping while I was waiting and found your showroom to be well-stocked and had some items I had been searching for. Again, the prices were reasonable and the service by Julia Potter was friendly and helpful. Again, thanks to everyone and especially those mentioned. You made my "debacle" less agitating and the rides turned out great! I hope to see you guys again for a "friendly" visit rather than an emergency repair. Take care!"

  • "I recently embarked on my first long distance ride on my CBR 600 with my dad and some friends that make the trip through Tennessee, North Carolina and Virginia every year. Our first stop was in Asheville, where they always stop at MR Motorcycle. I had started out with a backpack to haul my stuff but quickly decided that was not going to work. So I wanted to look at saddle bags at your shop. There was a great selection, but I have an aftermarket dual exhaust that is right under my tail that didnt work with the saddlebags. So your guy Travis started bringing out other options, and went out of his way to help me and find one that I liked and that worked with the bike. So I ended up with an Ogio tail bag that I absolutely love, and it made the ride much better than the backpack would have. Travis went above and beyond providing outstanding customer service and help. I had an outstanding experience at MR Motorcycle thanks to Travis!!"

  • "I want to thank Scott for having all those helmets in stock. It was great being able to see each helmet side-by-side and being able to compare the fit of each. I actually like the Shoei and Scorpion graphics better than the solid of the Arai. But, the Arai fit me the best, so that is what I purchased. Roxanne was a great help and made me feel confident that she would fit me correctly. Please tell her I appreciate her patience and all the time she spent with me. You two have been great to deal with and have won me and my two buddies over as customers even though we are more than 200 miles away. A neighbor at a nearby cabin had a compressor and we were able fill the tire with air and then ride to MR Motorcycle. While there I was treated with respect and made to feel as if my predicament was a major concern and even though busy with normal operations I was in and out of your establishment in under 2 hrs. This is about the 4th time that I have had direct or indirect contact with your place of business. I bought two Polaris that day and have been very happy with both machines. We had a little mix up with the accessories (was given the wrong contact phone number).   • "I recently visited your dealership in search of a new helmet and had such a "better than expected" experience, that I felt you should be made aware. Upon entering the dealership, I easily saw the helmets and headed that direction. I was approached by Travis Owens within seconds. I expressed interest in a Shoei helmet. He redirected me to an Arai as it was more suited to my head shape. His knowledge of the helmet was impressive. He took the time to show me the features and benefits of the Arai and made sure I had the correct size. He even refitted the helmet with better fitting cheek pads. While I was paying for the helmet, I mentioned I was going to have to move my J&M Audio headset from my old helmet into the new one. He offered to do this for me at no charge. I gladly took him up on his offer and I brought the helmet back the next day with the headset, which he installed perfectly. The knowledgeable and friendly salesperson has all but become extinct from today's society.   • "Very impressed and happy with my experience at MR, both their repairs and especially sales floor. I originally went in just to repair my Suzuki DRZ 400 and came out with a repaired dirt bike AND a new road bike to boot (Kawasaki 900 Vulcan). NOT due to pressure (I'm not one to be pressured) but due to MR's jaw droppingly low prices and their sales-lady on the floor who assisted me. She went well over the call of duty to assist. So much so that i highly I recommend her (Tiffany D.) to anyone coming in to buy from MR. In summary, she was/is highly professional, v. well versed on all MR's inventory, concerned mainly that i got the bike i needed/wanted, trustworthy- she earned my complete trust and confidence over the course of several days and multiple hours, worked hard for me- came in on her days off to help answer questions, and she was the last person left standing in the store (3 hrs past closing on a Friday night!) to assure my new Kawasaki Vulcan 900 and repaired dirt bike were locked, loaded and ready to trail (plates, manuals, parts, keys, all the details) as i had to hit the road fast to catch a flight. I could have made wrong choices along the way but Tiffany kept me moving in the right direction resulting in my complete biking satisfaction today.   • "bought riding gear, did not know much about the type of gear and the sales person(scott Enlow) was extremely helpful he explained how the gear worked and we bought 2 Olympia AG3 jackets which does everything scott said, he spent about 30 minutes with us on a busy day.as far as the store itself,very nicely laid out and neat. will do business with them again without a doubt."

  • "The employees at MR Motorcycle are terrific. My Yamaha V-Star is my only mode of transportation. I went in to purchase saddlebags. The salesman made an appointment right then to have them installed. Also, through our conversation, it was apparent that I was coming due for a service. Not only did they get the saddlebags installed, but they also completed the service for me that day. These guys went out of their way to provide great service during my time there. I have been sold on this organization. Many other businesses could learn true customer service from this company. Kudos to MR Motorcycle."

  • "The Service Advisor, Alex Brown, was excellent. The staff was friendly and very helpful. MR Motrocycles literally saved my vacation. They came and picked up my bike, repaired it that day, and had me on my way. They went out of their way to provide excellent service from the service manager to the repair technician. Again, a special shout out to the Service Advisor, Alex Brown. I was even given a ride to a locale where I couldn't take my bike to return a defective product I had purchased somewhere else.   • "I would like to take a minute and mention that Brad did an excellent job for me on my most recent order. I had ordered an alternator for my 1991 Honda ST1100 on May 14th after asking your company and a couple of your competitors on May 9th about availability after seeing it was on back order. Brad was very helpful in his initial communication with me via e-mail so I chose to go with you mainly for that reason as well as the fact you are located in North Carolina and I like to keep the business local if possible. He took care of my order personally and I pretty much wore him out every couple days asking about it and he did a nice job of keeping me informed and then letting me know when it arrived as well as providing me a tracking number. I received it on May 24th and I installed it on the 25th and got some extra riding in on the holiday weekend. Anyway as someone who rides on average 330 days a year I appreciated the good service. I have placed several orders with your company now and your service and pricing will keep me coming back as well in the future. Thank you again."
