  • "I recently visited your dealership in search of a new helmet and had such a "better than expected" experience, that I felt you should be made aware. Upon entering the dealership, I easily saw the helmets and headed that direction. I was approached by Travis Owens within seconds. I expressed interest in a Shoei helmet. He redirected me to an Arai as it was more suited to my head shape. His knowledge of the helmet was impressive. He took the time to show me the features and benefits of the Arai and made sure I had the correct size. He even refitted the helmet with better fitting cheek pads. While I was paying for the helmet, I mentioned I was going to have to move my J&M Audio headset from my old helmet into the new one. He offered to do this for me at no charge. I gladly took him up on his offer and I brought the helmet back the next day with the headset, which he installed perfectly. The knowledgeable and friendly salesperson has all but become extinct from today's society.   • "Very impressed and happy with my experience at MR, both their repairs and especially sales floor. I originally went in just to repair my Suzuki DRZ 400 and came out with a repaired dirt bike AND a new road bike to boot (Kawasaki 900 Vulcan). NOT due to pressure (I'm not one to be pressured) but due to MR's jaw droppingly low prices and their sales-lady on the floor who assisted me. She went well over the call of duty to assist. So much so that i highly I recommend her (Tiffany D.) to anyone coming in to buy from MR. In summary, she was/is highly professional, v. well versed on all MR's inventory, concerned mainly that i got the bike i needed/wanted, trustworthy- she earned my complete trust and confidence over the course of several days and multiple hours, worked hard for me- came in on her days off to help answer questions, and she was the last person left standing in the store (3 hrs past closing on a Friday night!) to assure my new Kawasaki Vulcan 900 and repaired dirt bike were locked, loaded and ready to trail (plates, manuals, parts, keys, all the details) as i had to hit the road fast to catch a flight. I could have made wrong choices along the way but Tiffany kept me moving in the right direction resulting in my complete biking satisfaction today.   • "bought riding gear, did not know much about the type of gear and the sales person(scott Enlow) was extremely helpful he explained how the gear worked and we bought 2 Olympia AG3 jackets which does everything scott said, he spent about 30 minutes with us on a busy day.as far as the store itself,very nicely laid out and neat. will do business with them again without a doubt."

I called and being from out of town, they gave great directions to your shop. They handled my tire change fast and I don't know what we would have done without them.   • "The employees at MR Motorcycle are terrific. My Yamaha V-Star is my only mode of transportation. I went in to purchase saddlebags. The salesman made an appointment right then to have them installed. Also, through our conversation, it was apparent that I was coming due for a service. Not only did they get the saddlebags installed, but they also completed the service for me that day. These guys went out of their way to provide great service during my time there. I have been sold on this organization. Many other businesses could learn true customer service from this company. Kudos to MR Motorcycle."

  • "The Service Advisor, Alex Brown, was excellent. The staff was friendly and very helpful. MR Motrocycles literally saved my vacation. They came and picked up my bike, repaired it that day, and had me on my way. They went out of their way to provide excellent service from the service manager to the repair technician. Again, a special shout out to the Service Advisor, Alex Brown. I was even given a ride to a locale where I couldn't take my bike to return a defective product I had purchased somewhere else.   • "I would like to take a minute and mention that Brad did an excellent job for me on my most recent order. I had ordered an alternator for my 1991 Honda ST1100 on May 14th after asking your company and a couple of your competitors on May 9th about availability after seeing it was on back order. Brad was very helpful in his initial communication with me via e-mail so I chose to go with you mainly for that reason as well as the fact you are located in North Carolina and I like to keep the business local if possible. He took care of my order personally and I pretty much wore him out every couple days asking about it and he did a nice job of keeping me informed and then letting me know when it arrived as well as providing me a tracking number. I received it on May 24th and I installed it on the 25th and got some extra riding in on the holiday weekend. Anyway as someone who rides on average 330 days a year I appreciated the good service. I have placed several orders with your company now and your service and pricing will keep me coming back as well in the future. Thank you again."

  • "5/29/2012, Erwin, TN Kudos to Neil, Alex, and Eric in the service dept for the 5 Star + experience, the best I have ever had at any dealership. Literally everyone of the staff was helpful, friendly and thoroughly professional. My Honda Silver Wing was hauled in because it had stopped running. Within only a couple of days, the shop had determined the problem and contacted Honda for a warranty coverage determination, which was rapidly approved; an engine rebuild was required. Had all the parts been readily available, I feel confident the job would have been completed within a week to ten days, but because some items had to be ordered from Japan, the process took about a month (not the fault of MR) to get me back on the road. I will be recommending MR to all my metric- riding buddies here in East Tennessee who appreciate true service excellence in a clean, modern facility. Thanks, guys. You have a fan for life."

  • "I came into this dealership looking for a new front tire for my 1986 Honda VFR700F Interceptor. I was picky too, I wanted the Bridgestone Battleax just like I had on the rear, so they would match. Not only did they take care of me and order the tire, but I wound up also purchasing an AWESOME Scorpion EXO Helmet and matching gloves to go with it at a price cheaper than I had seen other places. Also a cargo net. If you need it, they have it. And apparently, if they don't have it they will gladly order it for you. My review is not based upon the parts though, you can get parts many places. This opinion is based upon the friendliness of everyone there. They made me feel very comfortable and at the time I was a new rider, and they explained things to me to help me out with my learning experience and the guy who sold me the helmet really went the extra mile to ensure I found one that was a correct fit and that I was happy with. Thanks, guys!"

  • "Today's bike purchase (January 11, 2012) was an absolutely positive, pleasant experience. We researched the MR website for bikes, put in a request for quote and financing, and the next day everything was done and approved. Then we just went over to MR with our trade, did the financing paperwork, and off with the new bike... This is our second bike purchase (today's trade in was actually the first purchase), and each time the customer service is excellent, the staff pleasant and professional, and the experience enjoyable!   • "In August 2011, my 1992 ST1100 was having big steering bearing problems near the beginning of a two-up, 4500-mile bike trip. I had an extra set with me and called MR. Service representative Alex told me they were backed up for several days, but since I was from out of town, in trouble, and only in town two days, they somehow fit me in immediately! They installed the new bearings I had in about 24 hours. Not only that, but Alex's manager and then Shane gave me a ride to drop off and pick up the bike--exactly what I needed. I'm from Orlando but have already been here twice, and now anytime I have a problem in the area, I will go to MR. :D"

  • "In May 2011, my 1992 ST1100's front brakes acted up in the middle of a bike get-together--turns out a caliper bolt fell out! Service representative Alex at MR looked at it immediately, he and his manager found the problem, and Alex found the exact bolt in stock. They wouldn't even charge me for labor. $5 and 10 minutes later, I was out the door--who knew it could be that quick and easy!"

  • "I'd like to say Thank You to the entire service department and the Service Managers for their friendly, prompt, and responsive actions in my time of need. We had an MVA on our GL1800 on the Blue Ridge Pkwy and the guys had us going again in about a day. Also the sales/parts department got our parts quickly and got me a new helmet to ride home. Y'all got my wife the info she needed for a replacement jacket quickly and easily. We will be ordering our replacement gear from all y'all soon.   • "During the week of July 4th, my Intruder needed some work to keep lus riding safe for the remainder of our trip on the Blue Ridge. 700 miles from home and got treated like we were the most important people in town. Alex broke into his schedule to do much needed work to keep my bike safe for continuing. Bob did all the work most professionally and completeand was greatly appreciated. We also got to see the sale group in action. What a great bunch of people. All looked like they were proud to be working there. All knowledgeable and eager to please. There choices of machine and apparell have no comparison here at home. For the money I saved on the repairs...700 miles from my home dealer...I bought a new riding jacket. They also got me into a intercom system complete with installing and step by set instructuion. I really tried to get back to say hello last week when I went to the Dragon, but the rain delays ran me short of time. I am not sure why anyone would go anywhere but to MR Motorcycle for their needs.   • "I recently bought a used V-Star from MR motorcycles. I had an excellent experience. I had an old 86 Vulcan that they accepted for a trade and gave me what I asked for it. Vance was my salesman and he did a great job to make the deal happen. The insurance dept is second to none Liz did a wonderful job of getting me a great rate. Overall Very positive experience.   • "I can not thank the folks in Parts and Service enough for their assistance back on June 27th. We had an incident while going through Asheville that required repairs to a friends bike. We found Mr. Motorcycle on the internet and managed to get there 30 minutes before closing. As soon as we pulled in the service and support was top notch and very accommodating.
