  • "MR Motorcycle took my bike from DEAD at 5:30 pm on a Thursday (towed in) to out the door and on to the Blue Ridge Parkway by noon on Friday... after I shredded the drive gear on my shaft-driven '01 Kawasaki Concours ZG-1000. The price I spent on this outstanding service is too low to print. I was 450 miles from home and stuck on a mountain, and they put me back on my trip. I'm home now, 1,200 miles in four days, with one night spent in Asheville while Steve & his crew at MR saved my trip. They couldn't possibly have been better, quicker, friendlier, more accommodating or confidence-inspiring. "Thanks" really doesn't say enough. Chris in Powell, Ohio"

  • "While on the second day of a bike trip to Deals Gap and the Blue Ridge Parkway, I discovered that I had worn out the side treads of my front tire. Being from Chicago and not able to replace it myself I braced for the worst. Thankfully I found MR motorcycles. Very freindly on the phone, and a large selection of tires. Yes it cost more than ordering it myself and doing the work myself. The cost of the tire was only $20 more than I could get it online, and they got me in and done in about an hour, so as to continue on my vacation. Steve Conti in service was very professional (he's OCD, don't face your money it'll drive him nuts) and understanding of my predicament. I don't think a little over 50 bucks is much for a one hour tire change. My bike is an 08 Concours 14 if anyone was curious. After 1500 miles all is well. Would definitely go back. Store appears to have a large selection of pretty much everything, including a lounge area with food service."

When I decided it was time to buy I returned to MR due to the friendly sales staff I had spoken with during my visits.   • "I was traveling to Kentucky from Atlanta and my 2007 R6 quit running on the interstate. I called my dealer in Georgia and they gave me the number to your dealership. I contacted Alex Brown in service. Arrangements were made to have the bike hauled in and repaired (it only needed a new battery).I was on my way 2 hours after I got to the dealership. They didn't have to stay past closing to get me on the road but I am sure they would have if it had been necessary. Alex was extremely knowledgable about my bike. He provided the necessary service which was what he was gettiing paid for but also provided friendly conversation which appeared to just be his nature. Alex and his team saw that mine was not the normal situation considering I was several hundred miles from home. I remember at one time there were four people working to get the battery located, charged, and installed. What I would give to get that kind of service everywhere. I plan to buy a dirt bike in the spring for my son and I will at least give MR an opprotunity to make the sale."

  • "Hello, I waited for 8 months to take a trip to the mountins and be part of Wings over the Smokys, II left 2 days early to ride the mountians, the first day there i had a oil leak that had to be fixed. I showed up to MR Motorcycles at 10:30AM and meet Alex Brown, he took excelent care of the problem. What was thought of to be a major problem turned into a quick fix with reseting a gasket and i was on my way by 12 noon.   • "Like every other testemonial here, my experience with Mr. Motorcycle was truly outstanding. We were up in the mountains on our annual trip from Florida when I had a flat tire on our last morning. One of my friends had been to the shop a few years ago so we drove over. Alex was quick to jump on my problem and even though the service dept. was busy that morning, they had me out of there and riding before one of my buddies could finish his purchase of his new helmet. Which leads me to my next experience: I have been to many,many dealerships over the years and bought many many helmets (almost all Shoeis or Arais). I'm on my third Arai but never before have I had anyone take the time to truly get me fitted into a helmet like those folks did for me and my friend. Never anytime was I given a hard sale on anything and I have never left a dealership with a feeling that I wanted to come back until Mr Motorcycle. The Customer experience is truly amazing here! Thank-you everyone at Mr. Motorcycle!!"

  • "I rode down from Boston, MA. on the 19th and 20th of June 2010. On Monday the 21st I noticed a clicking sound coming from my front end. I finished the day and it seemed to be getting worse. We jumped on the Blue Ridge Parkway which was our primary goal. By the time we were detoured off the BRP due to rockslides, I decided to find a Yamaha dealer. I called my wife and she checked it out online while my buddy and I drove to the city of Ashville. I ended up speaking to Alex who gave me superb directions to MR. Knowing my situation, being far from home and on vacation, he rode the bike and put it in the shop. They quickly determined my brakes were dragging on the disk, and my front bearings were shot. He directed me to the lounge (imagine that!!!! a customer lounge!!!) where I sat and had a cold drink. Very quickly the bike was repaired and I was on the road again. The price was fair. The quality of the workmanship was superb. Alex treated me like I was the most important customer in the world. He even gave me a recipe for pulled pork and his personal e-mail so my wife could call him with questions about the recipe!! If I didn't live 1000 miles away, I'd never bring my bike to anyone else. Yamaha Corporation should send all of their franchise owners to MR Motorcycles for classes in how to run a motorcycle operation. Thanks for being there for me in a time of trouble, for treating me like royalty, and for getting me back home safely. You are simply the best!!"

  • "I was on a road trip with some friends enjoying the twistys there above Ashville and did not realize that the tread on my rear tire was close to its end. I burned up whatever tread was left from Thursday to Friday and was in definite need for a new tire by Saturday morning. Called around and found MR and these guys must ride too because they jumped on this problem as soon as our group got there Saturday morning. They had the tire, the time, the expertise, and the consideration to install new brake pads and the new rear tire while our group went to breakfast around the corner. We came back in less than an hour and the bike was ready to go! Our ride went on schedule and I can only say that these guys were there when they were needed and especially to an out of town rider from Austin Texas! My thanks goes out to these "Customer Service Heroes" I have been riding for many years and never have seen a motorcycle shop so in tune with their customer's needs.   • "Date: December 14, 2009 To: The Management of MR Motorcycle Having just returned from MR Motorcycle with the part I needed to repair my ATV, I wanted to take a moment to thank you and your staff for the many years of service you have afforded me. When I purchased my Honda ATV from you in 1994, I had no idea that it was the beginning of a very rewarding relationship for me. But, that is just what it has developed to be. Case in point...I voluntarily plow our subdivision every winter and it is important that my equipment be ready to go. To my dismay, I just discovered that I couldn't start my ATV with the electric starter. I could jump start it, but I wanted to merely push that button. I called Lee at your store and help was at hand instantly. Following his instructions, I was able to resolve the problem by purchasing the part from you and installing it myself, instead of renting a trailer, etc, etc. The savings were tremendous, both in dollars and peace of mind. Thank you all. My Honda ATV has given me fantastic service with minimal trouble for 15 years! And, the service you and your staff render is equal to that of the product you sell. While I was on a riding trip in your area on Monday November 9, 2009, I noticed the rear tire on my Triumph Rocket 3 had lost tread and had become unsafe (too much fun on US 129 and the Cherohala Skyway). Your ability and willingness to have a tire shipped, same day, to your facility and to get me back on the road are greatly appreciated.
